Last week, Lewis got his tonsils out. Dad took the day off work and took him to the surgery center. It took about 3 hours from the time we got there until we were able to leave, even though the surgery itself only took about 30 minutes. Lewis did pretty good. He wasn’t too excited about the whole event, but it went OK. He was, however, very excited about the popsicles and ice cream that awaited him at home. He also got to watch movies and YouTube more than usual.
Hallie is growing up so fast. She is talking so much better and loves to repeat everything she hears. She’s decided she’s done with the high chair and wants to sit in the normal chairs like everyone else. She loves fighting with her brother and playing on the little playset we bought for the backyard.
Missy and I spend most our time taking care of kids. Missy had a breakthrough with her gluten-free sourdough bread this week and she is very excited about it. Other ladies in the ward with a gluten allergy have asked for some of her starter.
