Stephen, Darrell, and I drove up to Lost Crick this weekend to build the Cabin. We framed the walls, put joist hangers on the floor joists (to make the floor less bouncy), and sured up the foundation even more.
It was very fun. Lost Crick is beautiful right now except for the absurd amount of mosquitos that appear in the evening. Where is there even enough water for mosquitos to live??
While we were in Henefer, I borrowed a few of Dad’s hydroponic ingredients. I’m going to build a windowsill hydroponic system to grow cool stuff. I’m thinking about starting some trees and flowers this week. Hopefully it works.
At work, we’ve been making cool patterns with our spatial light modulator. The gif shows the video the camera made as it slides backwards through the laser beam. The picture shows what the laser beam would like like from the side.
