This is my second year as camp director. I’ll need a decent break before I’ll be ready to do it again. We had 15 girls this year and we went to Nephi to Old Pinery. It was a fantastic camp with a lot of fun activities. Turns out I’m a crazy good shot with a bow and arrow. One of the highlights for me was doing this giant Minerva Teichert color by number. All the girls had a card with all these numbers on it that corresponded to paint colors. After the cards were finished they went on a specific spot on this giant poster board. When all the pieces were in place it was an impressive picture of Christ.
The theme for camp was Be The Light. We used lighthouses and lower lights as examples of how to follow the light and how to keep our lower lights burning. It was an excellent theme.
